Day 2 on my Hanoi trip ~~ 8D

Woke up around 6 in the morning and quickly snapped a picture ! It's 6 and it's already bright , orz .. Look like my Watanuki baby nua-ing on the comfy and icy cold bed . <3

Breakfast ~~ Kind of like a buffet . (nearly typed out buffalo)

Friend ordered omelete from the cook . (i tasted it, totally tasteless lol)

Iced apple juice ! Top drink favourites ~ 

This .. is a YOGHURT . Yes , not cream or butter or any other thing you thought . It looked like it has a weird taste .

BUT IT WAS FREAKING YUMMY .

My muslim friends who are sitting across me ! ^^

LOL , their anyhow-messed-up bread . xD

My room mate & ex-classmate ! :) She's damn nice k .

Then , on the bus to Ho Chi Minh mausoleum ! Sorry , no pics of that because cameras were confiscated since phototaking not allowed . There's only Ho Chi Minh's preserved dead body inside . 

Next , went to some building . Not allowed to enter it nor cross the boundaries ! :( I was told that it was a place for government people from Vietnam and other countries to come over and have big conferences or meetings . Not sure whether it is still being used now .

The gate ~ Not allowed to cross the line so I ZOOOOMED in . 

NEXT ! The house that Ho Chi Minh used to live in .. (i guess? couldn't go in too)

Then , some kind of lake ~ LOL . Damn lots of people because it's 2nd September , a special day for people to visit the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum and these places . I got pushed , squeezed and there's little kids that touched my butt in order to push me . LOLOLOL . :B Pedokids .

TSUGIII ~ Hoa Lo Prison !

Okay , this is a pretty scary picture . I was the first that was walking behind the tour guide so I walked past this prison room . There was a small window & I looked into it . I jumped back immediately LOL . It was this fake man .

Framed pictures/or whatever idk what's its called . Showing how prisoners was treated .

The underground sewers . Signboard wrote that a few prisoners tried to escape through the underground sewers . Some were caught and killed . Only 5 managed to escaped successfully . The lady in sleeveless turquoise dress is Victoria . She's born in Hanoi , she speaks proper English and she lives in Singapore . This time is her 2nd time accompanying my school to Vietnam , Hanoi .

The "thing" for slaying/slaughtering/cutting/chopping of the prisoners' head .

After that , it soon rained . Our next destination was originally the Temple of Literature , but since it's raining it'd not make an enjoyable trip . Thus , we went back to the hotel to eat LUNNNNCH . (we'd never get hungry)

Noodle ! ^^ This tasted great , me gusta !

FRIED EGG . And yesh , my favourite . (btw i just ate it again xD , mum cooked it this time)

Same , fish with some tomato-like sauce LOL . My room mate's favourite food . Everyday she was wishing that the Cook would cook this fish LOL . (she's a mad seafood lover)

STONE BREADDD . My otaku male friend , Fariz's favourite LOL . He'd never fail to grab this .

Here , this is Fariz ! He's (RE)watching Angel Beats , so he has only episode 1 on his iPod , thus he keep repeating it LOL . (see how i emphasized my 're' ? this one die also must emphasize)

Fruits as dessert ! ^^ Pineapples & apples . (ofc i 'chop' the apple first xD)

After that , stopped raining already then TEMPLE OF LITERATUREEE ! ~

Some crane-dragon-tortoise statue LOL . Many people was touching it , I think it's because it is believed to give you good luck in your exams/studies so it was hard to snap a picture of it ! Hehe , I touched it too . ^^

YAY , Halong Bay hotel next ! Sat a 4 hours bus trip to Halong from Hanoi . I was totally sleeping like a dead pig . Our lugguage is in Hanoi , Cosiana Hotel . We're only told to bring one night/day worth of clothes to this hotel ~ Definitely , Watanuki is coming too ~

Some weird soup that Kai Xin said that it was tasteless so I didn't try it .

AFTER DINNER , SHOPPING AT THE NIGHT MARKET . Sorry , no pictures as we were instructed to not to take out any valuable items as it might be stolen . We're foreigners afterall . Bought this shirt ! My indian friend helped me to bargain LOLOLOLOL , she was the bargain queen . 

And this bag . Definitely , Watanuki is just for 'decoration' . 8D My indian friend & Kai Xin got the same bag as me ! Mine's pink . Kai Xin's orange . Friend's green . (yes i'm a pink lover)
